What is collected is regenerated! This is the great contribution of ENDIALE S.A., which in its 20 years of activity, has collected and regenerated more than 560,000 Mt of WLO , with multiple benefits for the environment, public health, saving raw materials and energy.
WLOs have serious effects on the environment related to soil pollution, water table contamination and atmospheric pollution. That is why the work of ENDIALE S.A. has direct environmental benefits, such as:
- Avoiding contamination of a water surface equal to Evia or 3,670km².
- Prevention of contamination by an average of 27,000 tn per year of hazardous and toxic waste.
- Limiting the production of CO2 emissions that would absorb 9.5 million trees.
The positive financial footprint of ENDIALE SA's work is highlighted through the savings, especially at a time when resource and energy costs are skyrocketing worldwide. The Collective Management System achieves:
- 2 ml. tons of crude oil less for lubricants production.
- 8 times less energy consumption for oil production.
- Saving energy equal to the consumption of 1 year of a city with 25,000 inhabitants.
At the same time, it gives development impetus to new sectors of economic activity while creating new "green professions" and specialties.
Waste oil has serious implications for public health. They contain toxic substances, such as heavy metals and polyaromatic hydrocarbons, which can cause cancer, neurological disorders, skin problems and respiratory diseases.
The project of ENDIALE S.A. creates a firewall for public health since it achieves:
- The reduction by 74% of the emissions of suspended particles in the atmosphere, linked to respiratory diseases.
- The reduction by 96.8% of emissions of known carcinogenic compounds.
