Joining Forces for the Circular Economy and the Re-refining of Waste Lubricating Oils<\/h1>\n

ENDIALE\u2013CONOU Working Meeting<\/h2>\n

Athens, 23 October 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/header>\n

ENDIALE, the National Collective System for the Alternative Management of Waste Lubricating Oils (WLO), had the opportunity to host CONOU, Italy\u2019s corresponding National System for the alternative management of WLO, for a three-day collaboration held on 20\u201322 October 2025.<\/p>\n

The initiative for the meeting came from ENDIALE and aimed at exchanging experience and know-how on WLO management and the Circular Economy.<\/p>\n

The meeting agenda included topics such as:<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Ways to promote and showcase the beneficial outcomes of the re-refining of waste lubricating oils for the environment, public health, and the economy, in order to raise awareness among policymakers and citizens.<\/li>\n
  2. Strengthening research and technology, in cooperation with educational and research institutions, to protect the environment based on Circular Economy best practices, to support sustainable industrial production, and to derive reliable scientific data.<\/li>\n
  3. Collaboration to jointly take the initiative to establish a network of European alternative management systems for WLO.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    ENDIALE S.A.\u2019s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. \u0393\u03b9\u03ce\u03c1\u03b3\u03bf\u03c2 \u0394\u03b5\u03bb\u03b7\u03b3\u03b9\u03ce\u03c1\u03b3\u03b7\u03c2, stated:<\/strong><\/p>\n

In this context, we had the opportunity for a productive three-day session with one of the most successful European systems for the re-refining of lubricants, namely the Italian CONOU, whose delegation I would like to sincerely thank for this constructive collaboration. We continue, every day, to serve our commitment to the best possible efficiency in the alternative management of waste lubricating oils, delivering benefits for all and putting the Circular Economy into practice.\u201d<\/p>\n
