Visitors to the 6th international VERDETEC at the ENDIALE stand had the opportunity to learn about the value that the National Collective Alternative Management System for Waste Lubricating Oils (WLO) adds to the environment, public health and society, and the impressive results of the recycling of WLO.
ENDIALE's results have exceeded national targets for several years, recording a 71% collection rate for waste lubricants (against a target of 70%) and a 100% regeneration rate for the collected quantities (against a target of 80%), exceeding the corresponding European average (61.2%) by almost 40% and making Greece the European champion in the regeneration of lubricating oils.
ENDIALE operates 8 WLO Collection Centers throughout Greece and collaborates with 44 collectors, 8 lubricant regeneration companies to which the total (100%) of WLO collected quantities from the 40,000 registered ALE production points are forwarded, while it also has a comprehensive WLO collection network in the Greek islands.
The CEO of ENDIALE S.A. Mr. George Deligiorgis stated in the context of the exhibition:
“We had the opportunity for another year to inform visitors to VERDETEC about ENDIALE’s Alternative Management System, which has been internationally recognized as a best practice in the Circular Economy.
Celebrating this year's 20th anniversary of successful operation, we are particularly proud of the value that ENDIALE provides, which is the result of our collaboration with all members of our system and responsible, aware consumers. Together, we are achieving our country's European leadership in the collection and regeneration of waste lubricating oils."
