ENDIALE's Waste Lubricating Oil Alternative Management System (WLMS) of ENDIALE has created an extensive network of partnerships with licensed waste oil collection and transport companies, serving all of Greece. The WLO Collectors, in order to perform their services, must be contracted with the SED of ENDIALE.
Requirements for Cooperation with WLMS ENDIALE
To become partners of WLMS ENDIALE, collectors must meet the following conditions:
WLO Collection and Transfer Permit: This permit is issued either by the district for local permits, or by the Ministry of Energy & Environment for nationwide permits.
Tanker: The vehicle must have a registration that lists Waste Lubricating Oils as the transported item.
Liability insurance policy: The insurance policy must cover the restoration of the environment in the event of an accident.
Procedure and Obligations
After signing the contract with the WLMS, the Hellenic Recycling Organization issues Identification Forms with a unique number for each collector. These forms must be issued when receiving waste from the Collection Points and delivering it to Recovery facilities. Before delivering the waste, the collectors must take it to the WLMS Collection Centers for quantitative and qualitative control, and be registered in the ENDIALE system.
Electronic Waste Register
With the operation of the Electronic Waste Register (EWR), WLO collectors must be registered in the register as Waste Collection and Transport activities and submit an annual report with the quantities of waste they managed.
